Spellings and Homework
Homework:
Please see the weekly homework attachments at the bottom of this page. We will also try to give out paper copies where relevant/needed. There is no penalty, of course, for not completing homework but we recommend children complete it to deepen their understanding and boost their confidence before SATs. We will go through answers every Friday in class.
We will also soon give each child two CGP books to keep (arithmetic and grammar), which we will set specific pages for. We are still awaiting the arrival of our order of these – so please bear with us!
Spelling:
Please note, class teachers might not schedule a formal spelling ‘test’ of these exact words in class. These patterns are being taught thrice weekly in spelling lessons, so learning them also at home will significantly help the children to retain them long-term and will help them to succeed in these lessons.
