Year 3
Welcome to Year 3!
We hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the year ahead. We are very much looking forward to getting to know you and your child and to sharing an exciting term of learning together.
Term 1 has lots of exciting learning opportunities in store! In Science, we will be exploring rocks and discovering more about the world beneath our feet. In History, we will journey back in time to explore life from the Stone Age through to the Iron Age. We are also delighted to be introducing French, giving the children the opportunity to begin learning a new language and discovering more about French culture.

If you are able to volunteer some time every week/every other week to read with a class, please contact your child's teacher. We are always grateful for reading volunteers and the children LOVE showing off their brilliant prosody and fluency to others.
Drop off and pick-up.
Doors will open at 8:30am. Children will enter through the main entrance and make their own way to their classroom.
Children will be dismissed from the back playground at 3.00 and must have pointed out their adult to their teacher before being able to leave. After school club will collect from the playground.
