Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome to term 1 of Year 2! We hope you all had a fantastic summer holiday and are looking forward to returning to school. The Year 2 team are excited to get stuck into learning and all the fantastic things we have planned.  As always, we have a busy and exciting term ahead! Year 2 is a wonderful time for children to build on everything they have learned in Year 1, while becoming more independent, confident and curious learners. We have lots of exciting learning, activities and opportunities planned.  We will help and support the children settle into their new routines, helping them make new memories and enjoy all that Year 2 has to offer. We look forward to working closely with you throughout the year and making it a happy, successful and memorable one for everyone!  If you are able to come it would be fantastic to see you at our “Meet and Greet” sessions in week 2.  This will allow us to share with you much of what we will be telling the children.

If you or anyone that you know has any skills linked to our learning this term, and you would be willing and able to come in and share them with the children, please let your child’s class teacher know.  This is always such an enriching experience for the children and they love having visitors.
