Term 6 Homework

1) Please read with your child daily or encourage them to read independently for pleasure. 

2) Spellings - please encourage your child to practice the termly words using any suitable method. Have a look at the spelling strategy sheet for some ideas.

3) Times tables / TimesTable Rockstars - all Y4 children need to learn their tables up to 12 x 12. Please encourage your children to go on TT rockstars regularly at home and test/chant the times tables. The MTC test will be taking place in week 2!

4)  There is a homework project this term. Please see more information below: 

Term 6 spellings 

We will be teaching a range of spellings across the term and will have 3 spellings tests in the year. We will no longer be using spellings shed. Please focus the following words with your children this term:

politician, scent, confession, muscle, treasure, neighbour, signature, vein, invasion,  immature,  version

If you would like to practice spellings weekly. Please choose words from the Year 3/4 spelling list attached below.
